I have seen many Broadway musicals here from "Cats" to "Phantom of the Opera". All were as well staged as productions on broadway (I also saw these two musicals on broadway). The acoustics are fine. The theater itself is interesting. Parking is easy to find, and there are a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

We saw the musical, "The Addams Family" in this beautiful theater. 80+ middle schoolers and assorted adults enjoyed the production.

As you walk through the doors into the grand foyer, you are met with a double spiral staircase leading up to the first balconay. There is gold gilding and red velvet everywhere. The Orpheum Theater is an excellent place to watch theater and concerts. My wife and I really enjoyable this venue because it has excellent site line for shows. They have helpful usher and staff is very friendly. Overall this is a great place to watch shows.

Theater decor and the actual performance of a dance troupe.

The good is that most seats are pretty decent. Of course the more you spend the closer you will be. I love the location, we live in Arkansas and it is just over the bridge. Love the shows, my only gripe would be not enough Broadway shows.

Saw Ray Lamontagne and the Levon Helm Band here and loved it. Great acoustics, amazing atmosphere. A great place to see a show.

What a beautiful venue and right by Beale Street- we arrived early and were able to park in a lot right next to the Orpheum for $10 and walk around Beale St before the concert. Great experience.

I love the Orpheum. It is a beautiful theater in a wonderful location. The inside of the theater is just gorgeous with all the moldings, and chandeliers. The location is perfect in downtown Memphis near Beale Street. I especially enjoy concerts in this venue. They seem much more personal in this smaller venue.
