I've sampled lots of BBQ in the area and this one was pretty darn tastey. Not the greatest BBQ I've ever had but definetly a nice place to have dinner. I ordered the pork ribs and the sauce on them was great. The portions were generous. The service was pretty horrible but the food was worth eating. more

Was there on a Sat nite late (after 11pm) and hungry. walked up & down before deciding on this. We were seated quickly (probably b/c so late), and ordered quickly. Loved this resturant - it has a good feel to it - A real experience I had a full rack of ribs, they were amazing, awesome, delicious. I don't even like RIBS! But I sure am glad I didn't miss the Ribs at Blues City Cafe....Food is fantasic. Friendly people working there...I am so glad our cab driver give us this recommendation. Also, could see the lighted carriages go by while we ate and this just added to the atmosphere of being on Beale Street. more
