They do have the very most beautiful flowers there. It is a wonderful place to have a Wedding and some people do have Funerals there.

The gold fish pond is a blast, be sure to feed the fish. There are different areas with special flowers and foliage. A great place to spend a morning.

Went to a catered affair which is always nice. But in Spring and Summer the gardens are beautiful. This has always been a special place since childhood! Very peaceful and comforting

Beautiful flowers. Irises were in bloom. Fun place for a long walk and good conversation or a picnic. Coy pond was entertaining. Loved seeing all the different blooms.

The Memphis Botanical gardens were very nice. Not the very best I have ever visited, but still very good. Very beautiful grounds, and reasonable price for entry.

Having visitted these gardens last Autumn I was keen to see the difference in the Spring, and was not disappointed. The Rose Garden was a picture (attached) and it was wonderful to see flowers in bloom that are later bloomers back in England. There is something here for all the family, with special areas of interest for children. It is... More

I have been to Memphis at least three dozen times, but this was different and an unplanned surprise. No jazz, blues, or bars, just beauty of a well kept garden after a very simple, yet first class lunch. The gardens have a ton of acreage and a special place for kids. Do not waste your money at McDonald's play land... More

The biggest problem I see is not being able to easily assess what flowers are in bloom from their website. Other than that, it was a lovely park with beautiful flowers and activities for children.

Thought we'd zip through it and get going with our day but ended up spending the whole morning and then having a great gourmet lunch at the cafe. Grounds were a treat to walk. Though is in the far corner of their gardens, I'm surprised more people weren't taking in the bird antics at the Audubon Lake.

My friends and I were in Memphis mainly for the tennis tournament, but it occurred to me that they would enjoy the gardens, too (I've been to MBG once before, for a Japanese festival). It was a sunny Sunday morning, so we didn't see too many other people there -- we practically had the place to ourselves. It's been an... More
