They do have the very most beautiful flowers there. It is a wonderful place to have a Wedding and some people do have Funerals there.

The gold fish pond is a blast, be sure to feed the fish. There are different areas with special flowers and foliage. A great place to spend a morning.
Went to a catered affair which is always nice. But in Spring and Summer the gardens are beautiful. This has always been a special place since childhood! Very peaceful and comforting
Beautiful flowers. Irises were in bloom. Fun place for a long walk and good conversation or a picnic. Coy pond was entertaining. Loved seeing all the different blooms.
The Memphis Botanical gardens were very nice. Not the very best I have ever visited, but still very good. Very beautiful grounds, and reasonable price for entry.

Though is in the far corner of their gardens, I'm surprised more people weren't taking in the bird antics at the Audubon Lake.
My friends and I were in Memphis mainly for the tennis tournament, but it occurred to me that they would enjoy the gardens, too (I've been to MBG once before, for a Japanese festival). It was a sunny Sunday morning, so we didn't see too many other people there -- we practically had the place to ourselves.
