At 11:00 am, the ducks come down in an elevator and run down the red carpet to the fountain in the middle of the lobby. At 5:00 pm they go back. The hotel is very accomodating to the general public and make it a real event. It's alot of fun and the hotel is beautiful.

Take some pictures up close in the lobby while the ducks are swimming around in the fountain then stake out a position on the mezzanine upstairs for the departure. You can stand in the hallway where they walk through to the elevator, but no standing in the lobby where folks have been seated at tables. The mezzanine worked well for... More

The Peabody is one of those great old American Hotels. It Reminds one of The ST. Francis, Waldorf or Mayflower. History , charm, comfort and great service. Plus, it has the ducks

You are not just staying in a hotel. You are visiting a piece of history. Even if you don't stay there, visit the bar area. This is where the famed ducks swim in their little pond. Every morning and evening the ducks are brought down from, and returned to, their rooftop penthouse. This is like a hollywood red carpet event.... More

Went to the lobby for the Peabody ducks. beautiful hotel! Enjoyed the show very much. Nice shops, and very friendly staff. You can even go to the roof where the ducks live and take some great photos of the city.

We had a blast going to see the duck parade which takes place at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. GO EARLY (about an hour before the event) to get a good place along the red carpet to get good pictures. This is a beautiful hotel to just visit if you are not staying there. The ornate decor dates way... More

This is an interesting place where ducks command all the attention. The ducks are highly trained and entertaining. A very unique experience.

I was visiting from out of state and had seen on television about the famous ducks that go to the fountain at 11:00 a.m. everyday and at 4:00 p.m. walk down the red carpet and on the elevator to the top of the hotel. I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. So neat! The hotel... More
