The operators were very helpful getting my dad on and off the trolley. And, were very courteous. They made him feel welcome, even though at first he felt that he was inconveniencing them.

Try to use the Trolley system for traveling around. Park your car(free) at the north or south main station and hop on a trolley. One dollar per person each ride or you can buy all day pass for $3.50 per person.Parking in downtown is expensive.

Downtown Memphis's trolleys give you a great mini tour of downtown. The Riverfront loop offers a pretty view of the river; the Main Street loop connects the historic South Main arts district to the pedestrian mall's restaurants, shops, and bars. The drivers are friendly, rides cost $1, and you can ride the trolley as far as you like. Overall, a... More

The trolleys on Main Street are very old but are in good working condition. The operators act as travel guides that really know their stuff about the trolleys and Memphis. The trolley ride is only a dollar and takes you up and down Main st. The longest ride is less than 4 miles.

The 100-year old trolley from Portugal that we rode was amazing. A great way to tour Memphis!

Nothing more than a bus ride. The only good thing was that it was only $1.

Nothing spectacular, but cheap and enjoyable, a nice way to see the downtown area.

Got us around downtown nicely. Kind of dull but charming at the same time!

Ride a real local trolley on real tracks, not some bus on rubber tires. Great way to see the city and the river while relaxing and watching the world go by your window.
