Try to use the Trolley system for traveling around. Park your car(free) at the north or south main station and hop on a trolley. One dollar per person each ride or you can buy all day pass for $3.50 per person.Parking in downtown is expensive.

The trolleys on Main Street are very old but are in good working condition. The operators act as travel guides that really know their stuff about the trolleys and Memphis. The trolley ride is only a dollar and takes you up and down Main st. The longest ride is less than 4 miles.

used the trolley several times. On thet rolley it's fotenhard to know whichstation you're at--we wanted to get off for Mud island but foudn out later that we should ahve told driver we wanted to go there vs beleiivng there would be a marked stop.
