This historic park is on a high cliff near the visitors centet. It affords great views of the river. There is a statute of Jefferson Davis in the center and a few historical markers describing the history of the area and the park. Good for a stop if in the area.

This park does have a nice view but it is overrun with homeless folks. There are many other places in Memphis to get a free beautiful view of the river. See Mud Island Park, or the greenway on Mud Island.

This park has an excellent view of the river, and was the site of many historic happenings. You pass through it when you take a carriage ride. Nice lawns and sidewalks. I would recommend it.
