Llanystumdwy is world famous as the "Lloyd George" Village and a Museum dedicated to both his Political and private life is located her. Both his first and last homes are located in the village. Very interesting history of one of Wales' greatest statesmen, showing his life rom childhood. Many facts on his political career and honours he had bestowed on him, along with many gifts presented to him from cities and towns all over the UK, he was also held in very high esteem by the monarchy of his time.

Have been coming to Criccieth for last 35yrs cant beat it for a lovely relaxing holiday.Centeralised to go all over Snowdonia

This museum was easy to find, with adequate brown signs from the main road. The reception was excellent and this was altogether a good and informative experience. The museum has everything you could wish to know about David Lloyd George. It's great to listen to the recordings of some of his speeches. It's also interesting to see that the media reporting of politicians hasn't changed much over the years. Definitely see the half hour film of his life and listen to the commentary "given by his uncle"... More

This little museum in this tiny location is a great find if you enjoy history on your travels.Its tucked away in the village where he grew up and is also laid to rest.
