The stunning views from Precipice Walk was one of my favorite parts of Snowdonia, but be aware that there is a stretch of the walk where the path becomes narrow and is right along a steep drop. To make it more interesting, the rocks jut straight up out of the path making it harder to feel sure about your footing.... More

This is a really easy walk with fantastic views, so little effort with a huge return. It's pretty scary in parts as the path is quite narrow and you are pretty high but it's a very popular route and I've never heard of anyone getting into trouble, my parents (in their 70s)managed it but were a little concerned at times!... This is a relatively easy walk, but with wonderful views. It was raining slightly when we went, but we still enjoyed it. The path is very well marked and suitable for those, like my partner, who don't like really like heights. Those with a real fear of heights or vertigo may wish to choose one of the other numerous paths... More

Fantastic walk with magnificent views. Car park with clean loos and picnic area. It follows the Mawddach river high above the valley before it reaches the estuary. The walk is an easy walk, with only a small incline near the beginning. There is a steep unfenced drop all along the river valley side, but is perfectly safe for sensible walkers.

This was a lovely walk but not as easy as was described, a few steep climbs and rough rocky part which have to be handled with care ! Beautiful views all round the walk. Do not attempt if you don't like heights or suffer with vertigo! Good car park and well sign posted.

We wanted to do a short walk that was close to town and hit the highlights. This nailed it for us. Great views into surrounding valleys.

This is an easy 2 hour stroll, with beautiful views almost all the way. What's great is that for very little effort, you can get very high up.

Enjoyed the walk around the precipice, it took us about one and half hours at a liesurly pace longer if you want to sit and enjoy the beautiful countryside which you can see Barmouth on a clear day.
