Very nice to have a castle with a moat. Not as dramatic as Conway but we did manage to walk the walls. Would be good place for kids.

Information well displayed Custodian helpful and informative
A beautiful castle in a lovely town by the sea. Very reasonable admission charge, very well looked after by Cadw and well-worth a visit. My grandsons had lots of fun on the battlements and looking at the many interesting features.
Well worth the drive. Beautiful castle. Excellent history. A nice way to spend and hour or two.
Great example of a medeival castle, pity it never got quite completed, but an enjoyable hour or so tottering around it. Cheap as well at just £3 or so
Not much to explore, although the castle is quite large. The best thing is the small chapel which has amazing acoustics! A smaller of the lovely North Wales castles but incredibly picturesque in the late afternoon sun. My four year old loved walking the castle walls. Don't miss walking along the sea front with lovely views of the mountains opposite. Beaumaris itself has lovely little shops.
Very well explained and displayed. Worth an hour of your time.
Good attraction. Lovely if you have toddlers for them to run! Doesn't take too long.
Love this castle well maintained very reasonable entry price. Really enjoyed it.
