A wonderful National Trust property overlooking the Menai straits. Lovely tea rooms, fascinating house, excellent golf buggy trip with very funny and helpful drivers, playground and lovely grounds for the children to run around. Probably my favourite National Trust property visited so far. Membership is such excellent value for money and you don't think that they are trying to fleece... More

Having visited anglesea many times this was our first vist to Plas Newyyd but it wont be the last. This is a fabulous house with so much history. it is well worth going on the guided tour. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There are 2 coffee rooms and the food was really good.

This National trust place is worth a visit, lots to do for everyone. The Whistlers room is definitely worth a look. The views over the Menai Strait are stunning.

Beautiful house and gardens along side the Menai Straits The connection with the WW1 Artist Whistler is best seen in the gallery, where a mural painted by Whistler stretches the entire length of the room.. if you walk along the room you would swear you re walking along a terrace in the Med - truly beautiful

A lovely property - big gardens to walk around and the house is lovely to look through - filled with many paintings, and a huge collection of paintings by Whistler - the highlight being the trompe l'oeil mural in the dining room - stunning, and worth listening to the talk about the mural too.

A lovely country estate in parkland on the banks of the Menai Strait. There are lovely themed gardens to wander through depending on the season you visit.

Nice gardens to walk around but not in the same league as Bodnant. There was an interesting display in the cafe about life on the Conway with some memories of ex cadets from their seagoing days.
