Beautiful and sad at the same time. All ruins have a story, and the Bishop's Palace has a compelling story.

We started the tour in the lower enclosed rooms viewing the displays about the palace and the rain was pouring down outside. As we exited the sun came out and a bright blue sky! This ruin has a lot of interest and is actually well preserved with loads to see.

St David's is a lovely place, the cathedral is amazing and well worth a visit, even if you have to walk back up a steep incline to get to the town! There's a little car park at the bottom near the Cathedral and walking to the cathedral you get some great photos from that angle.

We love wandering around old ruins and this was no exception, you can go up a turret that awards fabulous views of the cathedral too.
