Set deep in the mountains of Southern Snowdonia, sail underground, through a waterfall and back across a thousand years into the darkest of the Dark Ages. Guided by your boatman, explore vast underground caverns and winding tunnels whilst tales of King Arthur and other ancient Welsh legends are told. Complete with dramatic scenes, light and sound this is a real adventure for all ages in all weathers - the underground caverns are cool when hot and dry when wet. « less

This is not an attraction for those who are very serious! King Arthur's Labyrinth costs £10 ish to visit, if you also visit "Bard's Quest" on the same site. This also allows you to view a short animated film. The main attraction is a trip by boat into a series of tunnels and caverns, which light up and play soundtracks... More

Honestly well worth the visit, the labrynth was AMAZING for me and the kids, underground caves you really feel like the kings down there hiding though, and the mysterious boat man made it feel authentic as he was literally just guiding you through! The cafe was a bit expensive but still good food, shame there was no chips for the... More

Thank you very much for your A-mazing review, very much appreciated. I have passed your complimentary comments onto our boatman and our new receptionist, who only started last week! We have received a number of requests from other customers too, about serving chips. You'll be pleased to know that chips will be introduced, for the first time, to the menu... More

We visited this attraction following a recommendation from a relative. We've been to several different attractions that revolve around old mines, including a couple similar to this, in that they include a narrative, however this is probably the best we've seen. The use of a boat and also walking is good, and I also like the story idea used and... More

Thank you very much for your good review, we're really pleased that you enjoyed your visit. In response to the underground walking, we do make visitors aware of this on our leaflet, website and on information panels in the main reception area. The reverse of the ticket also contains information about the walking distance and speed. Due to the nature... More

I was surprised ad impressed by the quality of this attraction. It made excellent use of a fascinating disused slate mine in Machynlleth. 9 and 5 year old boys loved it!

Well worth a visit. This is a attraction with difference. Friendly staff and unusual tour. would have been nice to see the caverns lit up more. Makes an interesting change to the usual over ground attractions. Take the trip on a boat along the underground flooded caverns and then walk the hundred year old tunnels and experience the wonder of... More

Thank you for your excellent review. As you say, the disused slate caverns create a dramatic backdrop to retell stories of King Arthur in Wales and other ancient Welsh legends. The caverns that you see would have been dug out, using primitive hand tools back in the mid 1800s. Our neighbouring attraction Corris Mine Explorers takes you into a higher... More

Thanks for your great review. The sheep poo paper (made using real sheep poo from the Welsh mountains close by!) mentioned is available from the Design a Kard studio, one of the Corris Craft Centre studios next to King Arthur's Labyrinth. More

We were staying in New Quay so travelled about an hour and half to reach this attraction, but it was well worth it!!! My youngest daughter was 6 and was truly spell bound. You go right into the caves of the hills and listen to the magical story of King Arthur. The caves are beautifully lit and you really feel... More

A very good experience for all the family. An unique story told underground about King Arthur and a good day out in all the craft outlets.

Quite enjoyable. Travelled a short distance by boat which we enjoyed through the cave system, and then walked in the caves hearing different stories from Wales.
