I have been to a few wildlife parks/sanctuary's and have felt that although Jirrahlinga does offer australian animals to view, it is a very average experience and overpriced.

Don't waste your money going here. Took my three children and mum on saturday. The rude ladies in the office didnt even talk to us, were happy to grab our $55 and didn't even look at us, when I asked if there was a map of the park she rudely replied no and pointed towards the entry gate where we... What sort of a show is this???? The kids didn't learn anything and... More

As an animal lover, this place is AMAZING! It's a rescue and rehabilitation centre for Australian wildlife. (I believe it's a popular place for school excursions, so if you'd like to experience the place in its natural serenity, I'd ring ahead for any dates with no excursion bookings.) After living in Australia for almost six years, it was the first... More

The park was much bigger than expected and the koala area was great. The breeding program is also very good

we visited this after having been previously to the ballarat wildlife park. we were very disappointed. it was quite expensive to enter and very little to see. doesn't look like much maintenance and improvement is done and animal enclosures are small. the only time we spoke to a staff member was during a koala showing in which there seemed to...
