This year in July 2008 the snow depth was 1.77m. the best in a long time. Plenty of people. I stayed in Silverski. Had dinner at Cafe Max. There is great night life here. Snowboarder and Skiers will find these mountains excellent. I find this better than nearby Mt Hotham. temperature was around -7 degs. you can check this out... more

Falls Creek is the place to go skiing with your family. Huge choice of self-contained appartments, the best ski school programs for kids from age 3 and fantastic atmosphere in the snow-bound village. A great choice of runs for skiers and boarders of all standards and none of those lenghthy line-ups you find at the NSW resorts. Buy your food... more
