Unfortunately with the reduction of the former double track railway line through Malmsbury, north of Kyneton on the way to Bendigo, to one track through this imposing station, the main bluestone building does not now have a track next to it.
Sadly the building is untenanted and boarded up. I just stood and admired its dark, brooding form recently and...
