Great food both at the outdoor pizzarea and in the resturant. If the weather in nice in my opinion it has to be outdoors. Will return

We visited the restaurant for a leisurely Saturday birthday lunch. It was a cold and drizzly Victorian day outdoors but the fire blazed in the dining room and the view from our window table, out over the vineyard and rolling hills was delightful. We indulged in the 3 course offering with matched wines by the glass and enjoyed every morsel... More

This place is the bees knees. It is all that you want in a winery and then some. Great pizza from the casual outdoor cafe, a shmick restaurant, nice wine and a great sculpture exhibition that you can wander through (I think it may only be open in the summer months). Have visited a handful of Red Hill wineries and... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful long lunch at Montalto Vineyard in the restaurant. Seated by the window with views to the vines and the outdoor sculpture exhibition, we were very impressed with the quality and size of the servings - very generous. Great wine list, naturally, and the staff were exceptional with knowledge of the menu and wines,... More

Simply brilient. Make sure you go for lunch or at dusk to see and ejoy the view over the vinyard. After lunch or before dinner do the sculture walk, simply wonderful. The restaurant food is always amazing. We are from Sydney and have visited Montalto 3 times. It is a must when you are in the region. The food and... More

I have had the pleasure of dining at Montalto many times now. The room itself is stunningly simple. tables nicely spaced, white linen. Simple, stylish and full width floor to ceiling windows to gaze out over the winery. The vines spreading out to the far hills. Old gum trees dotting the horizon line. The scenery is tranquil and atmospheric. Modern... More

Had a lovely day touring the vineyards. Had lunch here and ordered a variety of pizzas. They weren't huge but had lovely fresh ingredients. The wine selection was very wide, which suited our group as some liked reds and others whites.

I always like the ambiance here. The Art Food & Wine are complementary. We visit probably 3 times a year.
