The day we went was Monday. It is obviously closed on Monday, but none of the pamplets said any thing about being closed. Even though I didn't get inside,the outside satisfied me. The outside is huge and very detailed. It is worth going to, but not on Monday. more

I didn't do my homework to figure out that it's closed Monday...but for the 20 minutes that my friend and I spent there, just walking around the building and taking some pictures, it was well worth the stop! Definitely see it if you get a chance. more

It was a strange sight to see in the middle of an urban park but interesting just the same. We actually didn't even get to see the gallery inside but had a great time taking photos of the outside. What a surprise to discover The Parthenon in Nashville. It was everything I had hoped for. A full sized replica, in perfect condition which included a statue of the goddess Athena! How beautiful! The Parthenon is a wonderfully maintained site and certainly worth a visit. The work that was done on restoration of the statue Athena and the building was very well done. The Parthenon is located in centennial park (a Nashville city park) and the park is very well maintained and also an enjoyable place to visit. Go and see it!! more
