The Parthenon is in Centennial Park, between West End and Charlotte avenues. It is the only full size replica of the Parthenon located in Greece, built for the Tennessee Centennial Exposition in the late 1890s. A beautiful place for photographers.

A very impressive exact copy of the Greek version and in very much better condition but that's it really.
This is as close to Athens as we may ever get, so we thought it would be fun to see the Parthenon up close. It is absolutely beautiful and quite impressive with its detail. Athena is the highlight of the visit...however, I wish they had not painted her face. Absolutely loved the replicas of the ruins and the small scale...

Nice art museum. the upstairs was awesome. Not alot to do inside, but the outside seemed like there was alot to explore. we did not explore outside, but we definetely will in the future.
True to its name it looks like the parthenon. While it was somewhat interesting from a historical perspective they could perhaps have more exhibits to give you a deeper understanding of the history of the real parthenon.
