Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon like no other under the summer sky and in front of the majestic Grand Ole Opry House. We were lucky enough to attend the last one of the season (July 19th) and it'll definitely be in our "Unforgettable" list! A crowd of more than 400 was joined by the music of Mary... more

On a vacation (our first time to Nashville), my husband and I attended the Grand Old Opry. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. We bought our tickets online, in advance. They were shipped quickly to our house. At the Opry, the seating was comfortable. We could easily see the stage, as well as the three... more

We are not country music fans but when in Nashville this place is not to be missed. The music was a bit mixed, but we were fascinated by the audience & their various reactions young men from Alaska going wild for 'Jewel' , whole families with babies & young children tapping their feet to the music, old couples sitting as... more

No trip to Nashville is complete without a visit to the Opry. We went to the Friday night Opry on March 21, and weren't disappointed. What's great about every Opry show, is the variety of country performers...you hear everything from contemporary (we saw Josh Gracin and John Otto) to bluegrass (Cherryholmes) to western (Riders in the Sky). Since the usual... more

I finnaly had the opportunity to come to Nashville and see the Opry after being a country music fan since the 1960's. We saw the 9:30 p.m. show on November 17, 2007 and it exceeded in all respects our highest expectations. The Opry was held at the Ryman Auditorium, the true home of country music. What a beautifully restored building!... more

Spent a few days in Nashville and enjoyed the touristy places. Took the trolley around that left from the corner of Broadway and 2nd and felt it was worth the $12 (@ that) per person. However, I ordered tickets for the GOO on line, for fear we would not get in. It was quite disappointing. Between the ancient entertainers who... more
