I finnaly had the opportunity to come to Nashville and see the Opry after being a country music fan since the 1960's. We saw the 9:30 p.m. show on November 17, 2007 and it exceeded in all respects our highest expectations. The Opry was held at the Ryman Auditorium, the true home of country music. What a beautifully restored building!... more
The Grand Ole Opry was very original. Just make sure that when you go there are stars performing that you like. more
Spent a few days in Nashville and enjoyed the touristy places. Took the trolley around that left from the corner of Broadway and 2nd and felt it was worth the $12 (@ that) per person.
