The TSM is located in downtown Nashville underneath the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The admission is free. The exhibits are thorough. The layout of the museum allows you to meander at will as opposed to being herded like cattle. They even have a mummy on display!!! This is great for a free museum, especially if you have any interest in regional history. The museum is much larger than we expected, consisting of three floors.
