This was our first time listening to this wonderful orchestra and we were blow away. There were 18 musicians accompanied on several pieces by a female vocalist and we believe that these are some of the best anywhere at what they do. I was lucky enough to catch the NJO twice. The first time on Tues 6/21/11 at their regular gig at the French Quarter Cafe.
Be sure not to "judge a book by its cover". The building isn't impressive, but I didn't go there for the architecture but for the music and the food.
Normally there is a $7 cover charge...
