Great place to visit-like the other posters mentioned. I loved learning about Andrew Jackson-who knew he was so interesting. The house has such beautiful murals and worth taking a closer look. Excellent self-guided walking tour of the grounds (farm, slave quarters, Jackson's original home, outbuildings, etc.) Tour of house is fascinating. Good film, good gift shop, OK cafeteria, nice tour guides, enough to see and do for an hour and a half. Decent history stuff! more

People dressed in period costumes show you the house. They have a landscape or yard tour and a garden tour which is free, but check on times for the garden tour when you purchase your tickets.
