This place has the best Cheese that I have ever tasted. They make it on the premises, and it is lovely, it is about the only place you can get it tooo!

We love cheese and had seen the signs on the expressway saying they had tours. We were time crunched and didn't do the tour, but we did visit their store where they had many varieties of handmade cheeses.

This is a great place to take kids to see how they make cheese. They take them on a tour of the farm! Great samples in their shop too!

Rolling down the interstate, we spot the billboards. "Hey, I bet they have ice cream there." Yes they did! For $2 you get a nice serving of delicious ice cream, which we enjoyed in the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the mountains. It was lovely. We loved visiting the farm and seeing how the different cheeses are processed. We especially enjoyed tasting the different types of cheeses that were available.

If you like learning about different things--this was fun. The cheese was great and it's a huge dairy--including a small "learning" museum about milk and dairies. Kids would definitely enjoy it--lots of baby cows to see.

We took a day trip to Philadelphia Tennessee from Our Chattanooga home. This was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. A beautiful farm and great cheese. We tried a lot of samples which were available and I wanted them all but only left with some 1999 , 2001 reserve and some sharp cheddar. Next trip we will... More

The Sweetwater Valley Cheese farm is a nice place to stop if you are traveling the stretch of highway between Gatlinburg and Chattanooga OR if you are just happen to be in the area. I made the stop here and was pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful farm. You can see where they make the cheese through huge glass windows... More
