The best thing I can say about this place is that I made it out of the parking lot. It has a bunch of junk in the store, nothing really neat or extraordinary about the shopping experience. Typical tourist trap. The "moon shine distillery" out back is a joke as well. They have a sign that says no videography etc....

Not very friendly people working here. The place is nothing but just another tourist trap, selling tacky expensive Chinese junk. The con job is the hillbilly village in the back of the store. The owner has allowed it to deteriorate to the point it has fallen apart and no longer worth anybody's time. But hey, it is free.

Sure it sells tacky souvenirs and has old video games and the place is musty. But of all that comes and goes in the PF,Gatlinburg,Cherokee area Hill Billy Village has made it. I have been there a ton of times and have never bought anything and played video games but its a fun place to go to kill time and...

Just a gimmick to get you into their shop ( which you have to walk through to get into the museum part). It is just a small back yard with a couple of imitation stills. The souvenirs in the shop are very cheap and tacky as well.

We stopped here thinking it would be a interesting place that might have some different items then the usual stores on the strip, what a pile of junk!!!! And it was filthy dirty too inside. I am pretty sure some of the items they are trying to sell are used, being passed off as new, either that or they just...

The huge HILLBILLY VILLAGE sign draws you in, however it was not as exciting as we expected. Lots of little trinkets and what not, but the same stuff they sell in every gift shop on the strip. We did enjoy the hillbilly jokes that were displayed, and it was entertaining. Not all that you would expect by the size of...

I am 42, and I have been going to the Smokies since I was 4. Hill-Billy Village hasn't changed in all of those years, which is unheard of in a Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg attraction, it puts Hill-Billy Village on the same level as Rock City and Ruby Falls, cherished family attractions whose charm lies in their nostalgia. Nostalgia can be...

This was pretty much just two souvenir shops one in front of the other and nothing really special about either one. We did walk out back to see the hillbilly house. Everything out there appeared to be run down and the hillbilly in the outhouse wasn't talking which was the whole reason I made my daughter stop in here. Didn't...
