Sure it sells tacky souvenirs and has old video games and the place is musty. But of all that comes and goes in the PF,Gatlinburg,Cherokee area Hill Billy Village has made it. I have been there a ton of times and have never bought anything and played video games but its a fun place to go to kill time and... more

Just a gimmick to get you into their shop ( which you have to walk through to get into the museum part). It is just a small back yard with a couple of imitation stills. The souvenirs in the shop are very cheap and tacky as well. more

We stopped here thinking it would be a interesting place that might have some different items then the usual stores on the strip, what a pile of junk!!!! And it was filthy dirty too inside. I am pretty sure some of the items they are trying to sell are used, being passed off as new, either that or they just... more

The huge HILLBILLY VILLAGE sign draws you in, however it was not as exciting as we expected. Lots of little trinkets and what not, but the same stuff they sell in every gift shop on the strip. We did enjoy the hillbilly jokes that were displayed, and it was entertaining. Not all that you would expect by the size of... more

I am 42, and I have been going to the Smokies since I was 4. Hill-Billy Village hasn't changed in all of those years, which is unheard of in a Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg attraction, it puts Hill-Billy Village on the same level as Rock City and Ruby Falls, cherished family attractions whose charm lies in their nostalgia. Nostalgia can be... more

This was pretty much just two souvenir shops one in front of the other and nothing really special about either one. We did walk out back to see the hillbilly house. Everything out there appeared to be run down and the hillbilly in the outhouse wasn't talking which was the whole reason I made my daughter stop in here. Didn't... more

We still stop here every trip just to remember the "old times" from my childhood 20+ years ago. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg used to be filled with junk shops like this and as a child I couldn't resist! If you are looking for some little trinket to take back home, this is a good place to look, 2nd only to... more

So the gift shop is exactly how I remembered it 20 years ago but the attraction part of it out back is gone down hill! alot of things that used to be there are gone now! just a log cabin and a out house. Not well maintained. its free but if you have somthing that attracts people to your shop... more

Yes this does bring back memories of when i was a kid. They have a hillbilly sitting in an outhouse in the back where the still are and when you open the door he talks and says things like "what you lookin in here for" "close that door", etc.... it was such a big thing when I was a kid... more
