What a pleasant surprise. Everything from the sheep, the great museum, to the individuals providing information on the first capital.

If you don't want to spend the money and want something that is a little less touristy the Rocky Mount Museum is an absolute gem.

Just off a main highway near Johnson City, this secluded site gives you the opportunity to tour a "living farm" from the 1770s period. Four costumed characters take you through the main house and the outbuildings, explaining and demonstrating various types of everyday activities of that era.
