The Lost Sea is an adventure into an underground cave with a large lake, glass bottom boat rides and huge trout that you can feed.

We've been to the Lost Sea several times and always enjoyed it. We started taking our kids, and now take grandkids. All have liked it. Especially the boat ride at the end.

The caves and lake were pretty cool, but the whole place is a bit tacky. I guess that's to be expected. I learned some interesting stuff, but would not go again.

The Lost Sea Adventure is a good attraction and different to your usual cave trip. It is a fair but easy walk underground to the lake but it is worth it. The boat goes around the underground lake and the driver throws pellets into the water to feed the trout that were left behind from a science experiment.

Does not look like it is maintained well. The glass bottom boats were dirty! Large group tours! Lots of stops and goes.

We are cave enthusiasts and this one was great. Found a coupon on the Chattanooga visitor center web site. GreAt place to see cave flowers. Boat ride was about 10 min. At the end of the tour. The walk back up to the entrance was a killer. Very steep. Would go back for sure. Don't forget to check out the... More

I took our two children here for a different kind of adventure. We went in a group of about 8. We filed into the cave type atmosphere. Our guide was kind and answered all my toddlers questions. It was a pretty long walk. i had to carry my little one after awhile. We were able to see what a single... More

Absolutely loved visiting the Lost Sea. Great way to see nature's work of art and enjoy underground beauty that we so often miss. Take your family and friends for a day trip or spend the night in the cave!! Sweetwater by the river offers a great restaurant.

I want to give two reviews- first is for the regular tour, the second is for my experience with my son's Cub Scout troop on the overnight trip. It seems like a lot of reviewers here don't understand what "cave" or "adventure" means. I would give this tour a decent 5 rating. Yes, it is dark- that's where "cave" comes... More
