Not a bad place. Your standard state park: Sufficient campgrounds, day use facilities, marina, recreational facilities, pool, etc. I think what makes this park special is the amount of family fishing atmosphere this place has. myself and a group of 8 golfers visited tim's ford state park for a 3 day weekend in early november 2005. what a great place. the golf course was excellent--played 72 holes and had a great time. the wildlife was abounding--great to see deer & other animals up close. accomodations at the cabins were very nice--overlooking the lake--well furnished and... more
