If you stay away from the aged beef, you'll like the menu. Beautifull grounds!

We visited and were disappointed. We took the tour and were completely disgusted by the lack of professionalism. The winery had many opened boxes and items left around which were unrelated to the winery. Also, as we walked the grounds, it felt as if we were in someone's backyard. There were old containers and metal sheets left on the ground.... More

My only problems are two but they are deal breakers for me. The smallest is that events held on the scenic view 2nd floor have no elevators to transport the elderly, temporarily crippled and especially large heavy equipment (from serving to entertainment) UP & DOWN. This is an Owner fault and perhaps someday some profits will be diverted to correct... More

I've been on the Messina Hof tour and found it interesting. I actually like their wines, especially the cabernet, pretty well. But I find the food only okay, especially in that price range. It is a very nice atmosphere. I thought the food was fine, but it is not that great for the price and I probably wouldn't go there... More

If you live in the Houston area, this is a perfect day away from the city. The drive is about 1 1/2 hours from Houston and well worth the drive. It's charming -- and we didn't take the tour. We stopped in at the wine tasting room and tried some wines and appetizers. Afterwards my 7-year-old child was given some... More

A lot of people in Bryan and College Station have their own opinions of Messina Hof. They range from absolute cult-like following to absolute disdain. I'm not on either of the extremes. I love to take out of town guests to Messina Hof, but if I'm interested in buying their wines I usually go to the grocery store or Specs.... More

I liked the free samples and the tour of the vineyards. I esp liked the fact that they like fire ants which help to maintain the roses that also grow in the vineyard.

Have stayed here twice in the last few years. Enjoyed the scenery, wine tasting, Bed & Breakfast as well as the restaurant. Good choice for the area.

It isn't France, but the wine is okay. The bed and breakfast is wonderful.
