My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time browsing through the endless shops and finding unique gifts. We were only there 5 hours and probably covered about 1/3 of the event . Totally fun and filled with treasures , delicious "fair " type foods, and friendly people . Go early, bring a cart, wear sunscreen, and drink lots of water.... More

We have been going to Canton for years from Dallas and have enjoyed it each and every time we have been there. I highly suggest you go early, parking can be tough later in the day. Generally, parking is $5.00. There are scooters available as well as wagons and I suggest a scooter if you have walking issues and a... More

We went to Canton Trade days April 31st. It is the weekend of the first Monday of the month. Plan to arrive early at it gets very crowded. Take a cart or something to carry your items that you buy. It is a very diverse crowd. Lots of things to buy. I became overwhelmed very quickly. Also, pay close attention... More

I have been going to Canton for about 40 years now and I just keep going back! Things have changed a bit over the years, but the more they change, the more they stay the same. The smells, the sounds, the items you can't find anywhere else...they are all in Canton! There are way more clothes, shoes and jewelry shops... More

After hearing about Canton for years as Winter Texans we decided to make a detour on the way home and check it out. It was definitely worth the trip. I can't think of a thing you could not find there if you looked long enough! We walked the first day, didn't see a tenth of what was there. After that... More

You can rent electric scooters which I highly recommend since you can not cover the area in one or two days. A lot of new things being sold the flea type items are on the far outer fringes. Clean restrooms and plentiful. First timers very confusing. May or may not try it again. First day walked 8 hrs and didn't... More

After hearing about his place for years we finally made the 45 mile drive to Canton for First Monday Trade Days. Big . . . yes. Worth the drive . . . one time, maybe. We're glad that we can say "been there, done that" but I don't see a reason to ever return. Sure there's LOTS of stuff there,... More

Not as big and varied as round top, but Canton is monthly and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than Round Top. Weather this year was GREAT!!
