The Sixth Floor Museum in the old Texas School Book Depository is justifiably a big attraction for visitors to Dallas. We took a friend staying with us from Greece. The museum areas have been modernized, except for the corner from which Oswald fired on Kennedy's motorcade. The corner is closed off with plexiglass, but you can see clearly where the... More

Historic...everyone that visits Dallas should go. There's a lot of conspiracy theory people that are happy to talk about alternatives to what the government says happened.

Little did we know that a building that housed books would hold such a place in history. It is amazing even for me a kid that grew up in Texas to go to take a tour of this building and relive the pages of my history books .

If you are not from Dallas and want the "Dallas Experience", don't miss the Texas School Book Depository. There is some great information and interesting facts and pictures. Then go to Campisi's... I'm not going to say what the connection is, but Campisi's was owned by the mob back then... Just sayin!

The building has been well maintained, and it's historical significance is noted by a plaque on the corner. There are many local "characters" in the area, who are willing to sell or give "information." While harmless, for the most part, dealing with them can sometimes be a hassle. The building is near Dallas' West End, and there are many restaurants... More

I have read extensively about the events of the 22nd of November 1963 (my book collection currently numbers well over forty), and it has been one of my main interests since the late 1980s when as a high school student, I read what I regard now as a rather mediocre article from a book about the World's mysteries that must...
