Enjoyed seeing all the old buildings, some are restored and some are not. Also a good place to shop for antiques.

Downtown Denison has lots of potential--most of it unrealized. There are lots of galleries and antique shops. But, after that, there are no pubs, wine bars or upscale restaurants where you can take a break. If you want more than a burger, you're out of luck.

The websites for Denison said Antiques & Art Historical area... Sadly, there were only a couple antique / art stores and the rest of downtown was more like a ghost town. There were multiple buildings that said "antiques" but they were empty. There didn't appear to be any attempt to spruce up the downtown. I didn't notice any updated store... More
