This place was the highlight of our day in Fredericksburg. Super cool staff and great wines make for a nice atmosphere. They also serve cheese plates, which was delicious. One of the best wineries in Fredericksburg. more
They have a beautiful tasting room. Loved the wines and the ambiance. My favorite was the Sangiovese. Tuesday was very sweet and helpful; she was very easy going and willing to answer all our questions. We had a picnic lunch on their porch. We even joined their wine club! more
We love to go through the Hill Country wineries, and have been for years. We discovered this new winery just off 290 at the Sisterdale exit. Rancho Ponte not only has a very nice tasting room, but a great staff. This winery is a wonderful find within the Texas Wine Country. It's too new to be listed on the wine trail publications. but it should be there. Don't miss it. more

Rancho Ponte Vineyards isn't included on the Texas Hill Country Wine Trail Map just yet. We were fortunate that Woodrose told us about them so we didn't pass them up.
