This would be a beautiful drive if you could time it for when the blue bonnets are out, unfortunately, due to the drout, we did not see them, but it was still a nice scenic drive. We drove the Willow City Loop in May of 2005 to check out what everybody says about the scenic wildflowers. This drive has been consistantly rated one of the top ten drives in Texas.
