Well worth the money, the place is kept very clean and lots to look at if you are an aircraft enthusiast!
Great place to get up close to many Vintage Military Aircraft ! Museum also has a nice gift shop with unusual aviation items. A must see for anyone, but especially military veterans. Planes are meticulously kept.

My sons gave me a flight in the B17 from the Lone Star Flight Museum for Father's Day and today was the day. What an experience! From the roar of the radial engines and the vibrations during take off to the volunteers and staff it was truly an awesome experience. I would recommend a visit anytime you are on Galveston... More
It is amazing seeing a Mustang, Cadillac of the sky, up close. you can even pay to ride in one! it's a moving experience without being depressing, and the staff knows their stuff, which is difficult to find these days
I'm a plane guy so it was a must stop and see for me. I was impressed. The quality of the restorations and displays were great. The fact that many of these aircraft are functioning, flying displays was a plus. I would have liked to gotten closer, and seen the insides of my favorite old planes, but in all, it... More
