From the moment you enter the property you realize that this is not a run of the mill tour. The waiting area has a building with a rest room, and an outdoor area with rocking chairs, a fire pit and swings. Complimentary water, beer, and wine are available with an honor box for donations to keep the practice going. At... More

We have always enjoyed touring the wineries in this area but this was something a bit different and was a great way to spend a couple of hours. Four of us on a girls' trip to Fredricksburg stopped off here. We were greeted by a couple of great well-behaved dogs and settled into a comfortable patio area with free wine/beer/water... More

We were headed to the LBJ Ranch today and saw the sign for this distillery. I'd read a story published earlier about this place but forgot about it until now. We bypassed LBJ and took this tour. I'm glad we did.

Even if you don't think you like bourbon go on this tour! The tour is excellent even before the official start. We arrived a few minutes early and were surprised to find a gorgeous seating area complete with free water, beer and wine! We could have hung out here enjoying the view all afternoon. Our group was taken up to... More

I was impressed with their enthusiasm for their product. The tour was excellent. Enjoyed the sample and wish they could sell the product on site the way all the vineyards in the area do. Why not? We didn't have time to find a store as we were on the way to the airport and were all packed up. If we... More

We enjoyed the visit so much! What great touches - from the s'mores basket to the free beer while waiting for the tour - everyone was so nice!

My wife and I were headed to Fredricksburg for a weekend. As we passed through Hye, we saw a sign that said "Garrison Brothers Distillery. For once, we were not on a strict time schedule, so we turned around and followed the signs. Best detour I have ever made. Stephanie and the crew were very knowledgeable and passionate about what... Went with my inlaws everyone had a great time. Short drive from the Austin area. The host made us feel at home and had a warm fire going when we arrived for the tour. Very interesting tour and anyone who likes bourbon will enjoy this tour.
