really crowded with kids and tourists .. very few locals go there more than once ... parking expensive and limited for the size of the crowds .... but if ya got kids, and like to walk, go for it ... there's a lot to waste a day there

Great place for everyone. Our family were there twice and enjoyed ourselves every time we were there. They have fireworks every Friday during the month of June. I'm not much into the amusement piece of it but do enjoy grabbing a seaside table and endulging in a few drinks in the sunshine

They have really explanded the boardwalk since the hurricane. It's so nice. Needs a few more public restrooms but luckily Joes Crab Shack is there and they were so nice to let folks use theres! Fun place to walk around and a great place for the kids!

I loved the atmosphere of families and the breeze from the water. I enjoyed the old wooden roller coaster.

It seems like this place is more suited to younger adults in the evening. It's great for the little ones during the day. At night, it gets a bit rowdy. I prefer more quiet restaurants where you can have a conversation without yelling.

Kemah is a great afternoon visit when in the area. There is something for everyone...fun games/rides for the kids, amazing restaurants and shops for the adults, and plenty of people watching on the gulf while sitting on the boardwalk.
