Like everything in this Kerrville, it surprise you for the good quality of the offer. The voluteer in charge we visited the Museum, was a very dedicated and knowlogable guy.

This museum gives you a good background of how Kerrville was founded. The opportunity to go through this lovely home and view all of the original antiques, furnishings, etc., a great piece of history.
This is the former home of Capt. Charles Schreiner, early developer and entrepenauer of Kerrville. The imposing limestone structure is right in downtown Kerrville, surrounded now by shops, restaurants, and galleries.
Inside the two-story building you will find period furnishings, most original, artifacts and art of mid 1800s Kerrville, clothing and books and memorabilia of the era.
