We just stayed 3 nights here (popup camper) in the Deer Field Loop section. Great facilities. The city of Kerrville now manages the park instead of TX Parks & Wildlife Dept. Plenty of trails to hike. We stayed in the shelters here at LEAST 6 weekends last year. This Feb we were the only visitors one weekend, very peaceful. Clean, right on the river, close to town, lots of deer! Headed back this weekend again! more
