With all the recent drought, Lake Travis is breaking records for how little water it is holding. If you have a boat, it is hard to find a functioning ramp.

Nice lake but due to the drought there was little to be impressed by. Like Belton Lake in Killeen/Belton area better.

Lake travis is great for fishing swiming boating ect. The water is clear and clean. Theres lots to do and see on the water. Places to eat and rent boats and jet skis

Not much Scuba Diving in central Texas but Travis has a few spots to go explore. There is multiple places to go to get to those spots and a dive park.

If considering going to a lake, this is the one i would recommend.It has the most amenities one would be looking for when considering going to a lake (watercraft, water sports, etc.). Also has many fun restaurants to visit that are right on the lake.

A beautiful lake about 25 minutes from DT. Typical lake food type restaurants so stay with the burger places. Scenic views with lots of coves. Rent a pontoon or ski boat and get away from it all.

My husband and I stayed on Lake Travis for our anniversary last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a room with a view of the lake and it was so peaceful and beautiful. And there are so many restaurants and things to do around the lake, you couldn't get bored. We loved it!

In 2010 -2012 this lake has been very low making it hard to enjoy but great for fishing!

Jet ski all day, only thing I would change is the fact that they ban Jet skis on public holidays.
