The rides were dated, and this place was more worrisome than fun. When your kid who loves rides is afraid to get on something because it looks unsafe, that's a good sign not to return!

I haven't been out there in a while, but my granddaughter use to love for us to take her out there when she was small. Just another option to keep the kids entertained.

when I entered I thought there wasn't enought there to keep us busy all day, but I was wrong. Lines are short and we wore ourselves out having a great time. The best thing is that we did not have to walk for miles. Most of our time was spent actually riding the rides.

Fun rides for both young and old. Don't miss the steep 45 degree slide into a pool of water.

It is a good sized amusement park for Lubbock. Kids like the water slides. Overall, nice something different to do in Lubbock.

Joyland has the rides you remember as a child, but they aren't updated versions...they probably are the same rides you rode 25 years ago. They were fun to ride on, but most were jerky and threw you around a bit. The park was not the cleanest, but again the rides are older. My husband and I spent about 2 hours... More
