Even through we are grandparents, we enjoy the musical wall and craft area which is suppose to be for children. The Science on a Schere where one can learn all about the earth. The great hall of Tiffany Stained Glass Windows is marvelous!

IMAS is a delightfully eclectic gem in McAllen, TX. IMAS will appeal to children and adults. The fun starts on the way to the entrance with a Colossal Head reproduction from Mexico, an enormous wind turbine blade (aka “Texas’ Biggest Fan) and a human sundial where you stand on the current month with your back to the sun to see...

I took my 7 year old son to this museum after a Google search of things to do in McAllen and was pleasantly surprised. While we were there they had the Grossology exhibit going on and this was a lot of fun. It is a traveling exhibit and is only there for 4 months. This exhibit is geared towards children...
