Not sure why a lot of people are ranting about this place. I've been going there for years and with the exception of one time where the crust was mushy, every other time it was great. The lines always move quickly, and even their apple bread is good. Don't think the pies are that overpriced. They are huge with a... More

They must churn out their tasteless pies at a rate of 100 per minute, and gullible tourists are only too happy to gobble them up at $10.00 per. Save your money - there are much finer pies in the county (try 'Taste of Country" in Belleville, just north of the 401 on Sydney street for some really superior pies at... More

I stop often at the Big Apple. Over Easter weekend I picked up a precooked apple pie. My son comes to me and says look at this. Under the crust, on the apples there was a bit of bluish mould. Mould can grow quickly but we bought the pie on Saturday and there was mould by Monday and the pie... More

The Big Apple is a rather difficult place to review. The apple pies themselves are wildly inconsistent. I have come here on 5 different occasions, and was only blown away once, and received God-awful pies on a couple of occasions. If one were to review it solely for the pies, it wouldn't score well at all. Where The Big Apple... More

Kind of quirky, not amazing but reminds me of all the road trip stops they have in movies. Plus they had awesome apple cider

Have visited your establishment on previous occassions and received great tasting pies. However, on this last visit Apr 29th/2012 the PIES were GOD awfull because the pie crust was not sufficiently baked and hence crumbled into pieces when cut/served. Apples within the pie were of varied species i.e. some were hard while others were mushy.... The price of a pie... More

They have a place for children to see animals and the pies are the best. Now that they have small ones as well as the big ones.

I visit almost every day with my dogs Smudge and Buddy, they love to share their all-natural doggie treats with Larry and Lucy, the lamas. My kids love to go for a walk on the nature trail. My mother and my mother in-law both suffer from diabetes and give 2 thumbs up to the no-sugar added apple pie. We find... More
