I had heard about this place from several people so figured we had to check it out. I actually went there twice during my visit and had a great time. The food is pub food, but very good. The fish chowder (with Sherry Peppers) is amazing and the Rum Swizzle is delish and deadly. A great value. more

We visited the Swizzle on the South Shore several times during our recent trip. (mainly because it was within walking distance of Surfside Hotel) The food is pub grub, but very tasty. We found this place to be "hyped" up. It also seems to be cashing in on the "tourist" and they gave us this special "tourist" menu - trying to sell special overpriced glasses and things. The Swizzle Inn claims to have invented the Rum Swizzle. I don't know if this is true or not, but I do know that their swizzle is the best on the island. You really must try one.
