Lots of fun to be found in this Centre with it's many bars, restaurants and shops

Except for the Yumbo that is. Dorothy clearly didn't have the right shoes on to party in, but if she had, this is where she would've come! There's so much to choose from in the Yumbo. This is a 1970's style place. All concrete on a couple of levels. Touristy shops during the day but a very 'Gay' atmosphere in the nightime with various shows and bars mainly from gay scene.

The centre is very much a large place, however all very samey all shops offering same types of goods.

Visited here for Maspalomas Pride in May 2012. During Pride this place is just electric. Atmosphere is amazing. a few gay bars open during the day, just like walking round a shopping centre. be prepared to be constantly approached by the shop owners to look inside their shops. But at night, my goodness, at night the place comes ALIVE

Its busy, brash, loud and proud! Always something to look at with people watching, dozens of bars to suit EVERY taste, theres even a mens naked one for those who dare!

Be very careful if you visit this area as many of the yumbo visitors are targeted by muggers i have known been to have their bones broke and even one guy got a fractured skull due to him playing with his iphone. watch out for many of the bar owners short changing you even though you are being charged double...
