Mineral Wells was know for many years as the South's Greatest Health Resort and the city "Where America drinks its way to Health." The Famous Mineral Water Company was established in 1904 by Ed Dismuke. The Famous continues to bottle the waters that brought health seekers to Mineral Wells a century ago. The historic Crazy Water mineral water is now only available through the Famous Mineral Water Company.

The hours of the store are short and not open for visitors on the weekends. No information on their product anywhere in town. Thank goodness we went to the Mineral wells State park and went inside to the store cause they have information and t-shirts and etc there to purchase.

We visited the Famous Mineral Water Company this June, 2011, when our daughter was married in Mineral Wells. We ordered lots of cases of their Crazy Water No. 1 for the wedding and it was a huge hit!
