We had a great time at the "Big Bend Ranche State Park". We stayed in the "Big house" which is really nice furnished. You brought our own food and used the fully equipped kitchen. There are several activities and we choose the horseback riding as we only stayed for one night / two days. We had loved to stay longer!

You need a truck to travel these roads, dirt roads, lots of bumps, not enough signs. The scenery is beautiful, rugged, without any amenities. Nice people at the Ranger Station,
