I visited Powder Mountain back in 2006 with some friends from Park City. When it snows, go to Powder Mountain. (But as others have mentioned, drive a 4x4 or use their free shuttle.) This is the best, most uncrowded, friendly area on the continent. 7,000 acres with 4 chairlifts, a poma, a bus(!!!), and a snow cat - OMG! We just returned from 5 days of POWMOW and can not say enough good things about it. 3 of the group ski and 3 board. All are middle of the road in experience and all of us plan on returning next year. February 26-29, 2008 Its hard to imagine skiing untracked snow days after the last snow fall, but that is part of the beauty of Powder Mountain. Lots of mountain; few people. This is a real nice ski resort with an incredibly funky layout. There are parking lots at all different levels of the resort. If you are just going for skiing then park at the main lot.
