Hole in the Rock Road is a very difficult road for a regular passenger vehicle. It is wash board, gravel. rock ,dirt and sand. Have a detailed map, water, food and a good spare and a full tank of gas. We rented a jeep from Dale 435- 772-6529 in Escalante Utah with a GPS and Spot emergency device along with... More

One of the most beautiful areas that I have ever visited. Highly Recommended! Can be a bit difficult however finding a campsite. Due to overuse in some areas, past campsites have been signed "Wilderness Study Area"

The hike is about 2 miles each way (4 miles R/T), a bit of desert, some Cottonwoods and 5 river crossings. In... More

I love to do the scenic drive through Escalante Grand Staircase NM, traveling from Bryce Canyon to Reef Capitol NP. Don't forget to stop at Kova's Coffee House for great coffee and views !
