Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I love Christmas lights! They are a wonderful reminder that the Savior is the light of this world. Our party of six reserved VIP reservations at Thanksgiving Point, which included preferred parking, arrive at any time, unlimited hot chocolate with an accompanying mug, a Christmas light necklace, and a few other extras.

The Luminaria experience is a delightful stroll through Ashton Gardens. You are immediately immersed in another world with all of the lights, smells, music, and tastes of the Christmas season. A one-way path ushers you through 28 themed areas and the immense luminaire hill, leading to the 120-foot tree setting high on a hill. The Gingerbread house was delightful and gave a little reprieve from the cold! Our teenage grandchildren even enjoyed the scavenger hunt. Looking for ornaments throughout the park that helped you solve a puzzle! The beautiful statuary garden depicting the Savior's life was especially poignant. It is lit with hundreds of golden lanterns, reminding all of the focus of the holidays.

Thanksgiving Point Luminaria Experience was phenomenal & I would love to return at another time to visit its other attractions!

This is a great complex of museums and gardens heavily geared to families and kids. While the botanical gardens were nice, the Red Butte Gardens are far superior and half the price. There was not enough shade here, and it's not an educational garden. It's more about the animatronic dinosaurs and golf cart rentals.

Lots of fun activities. Museums, and gardens. We loved seeing the tulip festival in the gardens today. Well worth the visit. The sculpture gardens are magnificent, as well.

On Saturday the 15th of April I called up Thansgiving point and asked if the tulips were in bloom. The answer I hot was...oh yes, it's beautiful and today we have food trucks abd craft booths. I purchased 6 adult tickets online and arrived at our appointed time of 130. Tickets scanned we entered the garden. I looked down the gardens from the entrance patio and was shocked to see the occasional daffodil but NO tulips!! We started down the path hoping to see the tulips I had heard so much about and started to grt more and more angry...the flower beds had tulips that were out of the ground about 4 inches but no flowers. We got to the "festival" to find 3 craft booths and 4 dessert food style trucks. After only 30 minutes in the "gardens of no blooming flowers" we headed back to the main building. I stopped at the counter to ask for our money back since there were NO blooming tulips and was told the tickets were non refundable. I was given bounce back tickets that expire in two weeks. We are in utah for a ski vacation and are returning to CT on Tuesday. I told this to the lady but she only shrugged and said I should have read the fine print thst tickets were nom refundable. If I could give-5 review I would. Font waste your time or money!! 160.00 down the toilette.

Thanksgiving Point offers a wide variety of activities for the whole family. The kids loved it and want to go back. It was great that there was a place to eat lunch, it made it convenient. Food was excellent.

We had a wonderful time at the Luminaria Christmas light show. The staff was very friendly. The lights were beautifully themed out. It is a very extensive light show so make sure you wear good walking shoes. The lights are magical and our favorite was the Jesus garden where they have massive sculptures of Jesus as they tell His story. They also had a fire and ice light show which happens every 30 mins I believe and that was really cool as well. All in all we had a great time. Just dress warm and wear good shoes and you'll have a wonderful time!

Our last stop before heading back home from vacation. Glad we did. One of the best gardens Ive ween in the country. Diverse area of driffent plants. The rose garden was the best. As a member of the Dallas arboretum I thought it was the best but I think this garden is one better
I can only image itbin the spring. The only downside was the waterfall was not runming due to water shortages. This area is a must stop for anyone visting Salt Lake City. We will let everyone know to go here.

We visited the Museum of Ancient Life, Ashton Gardens, and the Farm. I recommend the latter 2. The area is nice, not overly crowded, and has a good variety of things to do and see. You could spend all day here and see all of the things, so the Explorer Pass is worth it, especially for families with young ones.

We had a business conference in the garden room at Thanksgiving Point. The service was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every need. Jacqui, the manager there, completely saved me and did it without hesitation and will a smile! I will recommend this venue as an event organizer.
