I had been planning a ski trip for my 10 year old son and I for a year. It took 7 months to decide what city we would take our first ski lessons and do our skiing at. After doing my research and with help from Connie at Ski.com, I decided on PCMR. I enrolled myself in the never-ever ski... more

We initally went to Park CIty as a stopover on a much longer road trip. We ended up at the Park City Mountain Resort and had a blast. My kids are still toddlers so we opted to do the alpine slide (wow! so much fun!!!!) and the mini golf along with some of the little rides. I wish we would... more

Went December 6th and 7th. Home Run is a 3.5 mile green trail for snowboarders and skiers, some sections are like a blue square. This is great for a beginner or intermediate who is still learning. The function of the resort just works. Free parking right next to the First time lift, which leads to PayDay if you take the... more

My daughter and I spent the day at Park City Mountain Resort while visiting Salt Lake City. It was a total blast. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more-the alpine slides, the alpine coaster or the zip line. They were all great. The $60 all day pass is money well spent. The only downside was the long waits. It was... more

we spent 5 hours here. It is $60 for an all day pass for alpine coaster, alpine slide, bungee trampoline, and zipline(must weigh 75 pds). in summer This is a good value compared to what we paid for alpine slide in Wyoming. Kids loved it. They said the alpine slide was awesome, coaster was very fast. They didn't do zipline.... more

Think about staying and skiing somewhere else. My wife tore her ACL during her first ski lesson. Due to her injury, we were obviously not able to complete the ski lesson. As such, I requested that they refund me the cost of the ski lesson. I believe that we are entitled to the refund because the ski instructor (John Cole)... more

I needed a ski resort for the entire family (kids of 11, 9 and 6). Park City is the one. I spent a week in jan, 2009. We hired a private lesson for the family. Specially useful if your family is not fluent in english. The resort has easy and difficult tracks, you can go ice skating, you can ski... more

Just got back from a week at Park City. The whole fam had a great time. The older kids enjoyed the bungee jump and alpine coaster. My little one had fun on the carousel and the airplane ride though both do show signs of wear. She even braved up to go on the alpine slide (which required riding the ski... more

I went with a group of people ranging from first-timers to intermediate-advanced skiers & snowboarders. PCMR had enough variety to please everyone. The trails are wide and the resort is large enough that it rarely feels crowded, except maybe near the base. Conditions were phenomenal-- lots of fresh powder, and even the tracked-out trails were cushy when I fell! (Being... more

We spent a short weekend in Park City in Jan 08'. Tried both Canyons and Park City Resort. Definetly recommend Park City over Canyons!! The layout is much more spacious, and if you are a beginner/intermediate skier there's much more trails to go to (try Homerun). The ski equipments are newer and things are generally more up to date. Can't... more
