We carry several ski and snowboard rental package options for adults and children of all ability levels. Our demo rental packages are great for putting this year's latest gear to the test on the renowned Snowbird terrain.

I had the best experience here buying ski goggles from Lori! She took the time to find me the perfect fit goggles and was honest with me about what would work best for me based on my needs and what fit me. I could tell she really cared about my experience on the mountain and wanted me to walk away with the best goggles. I would buy any ski gear from Lori, as I know she genuinely cares!

The staff at Christy Sports were a highlight of our trip. It started with Evan helping us out on merchandise and recommendations. He was so super helpful!! We made sure to go back to purchase additional rentals and merchandise from them. Ted helped custom fit an insert, which made a huge difference. Would highly recommend the insert! Will definitely have Ted fit me when I purchase boots next trip. As far as the rentals go, Clair, Peyton, Tyler and Rich were so patient with switching out our boots until we had the right fit. Tyler ended up fitting both my husband and I, and his recommendation worked perfectly. Your boots make your ski experience, so thanks to the staff for excellent customer service. They have made a lifetime customer out of our family. Thank you!! Would highly recommend.

We are a family of four with two teenagers. Our teenagers both ski and snowboard. My wife and I are old school – we just ski.
We have used Christie’s sports in the past (Telluride, Deer Valley, Park city, Snowbird) and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Changing out skis for snowboards on a day today basis with my teenagers is easy and entirely hassle-free. Equipment is kept in very good shape. The shops are always in convenient locations at the mountains making it easy to switch out equipment and return at the end of our vacations.
This year’s trip to Snowbird was quite different due to the coronavirus problem. Not only was the staff as good as always, but were extremely accommodating in the end when we had to return everything after only one day skiing. They refunded all our unused rental fee without question.
I was so impressed that I will never use another ski rental company.Thank you Christie sports for your all-around excellence.

Went to Snowbird for a week earlier in the month. Great experience, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Myself and wife were only planning on 3 days of skiing, daughter 6. That is what we paid for up front, no questions asked and no need to return skies when not using them. As it turned out, I suffered from Altitude sickness for the first 3 days so only did ski 3 days. Highly recommend and $$$ is best on the mountain.

If you're planning to rent equipment at Snowbird look elsewhere. To summarize what I describe in detail below we had advance reservations, the rental shop was not crowded (about 15 people in/out in total during the 1.5 hours we spent trying to collect our equipment), and we received poor service from untrained employees. We arrived at the rental shop at 8:30am (30min before 1st lift) and did not receive our equipment until 10:00am (cost us 1+ hours on the slopes). After realizing we received equipment that did not fit properly we were back in the rental shop after our first run exchanging it for proper fitting equipment.
To elaborate, we had advance renovations (made 3 weeks+ in advance) and were greeted by waiting in line with everyone else who didn't have a reservation. When it finally came our turn to check-in the lady at the front desk told us she had to have someone else look in a second computer right next to her for our reservation (even though I had printed the confirmation and showed it to her). Instead of looking herself she motioned us to wait to the side while she took other customers who had no reservations who were behind us in line. One of the other workers came over to find our reservation (and did so without a problem) and we preceded to get boots. After waiting in line for boots we waited in yet another line for a snowboard. When we finally reached the staff member in charge of boards and skis he said to us "so remind me does goofy mean right foot in front or left foot in front?" The staff member was clearly untrained and inexperienced. He ended up giving my wife a board that was way too long for her and set her bindings incorrectly. We had to go back to the shop and get a replacement board and reset the bindings after our first run.
I would not recommend renting from this establishment. I've been skiing / snowboarding for 20+ years and never have seen a rental shop run this poorly. There should be more people on staff, a more logical flow for sign-in, boot fitting, and board/ski fittings. Advance renovations should be given priority check-in.

So in over 30 years of skiing, I have never had a pair of skis taken. But today it happened. The person responsible for taking my skis had rented from Christy’s, but even after the Snowbird security confirmed from the security cameras (even watched the guy grab the skis, look at them, and take them to the tram) the person at Christy’s refused to call the guy to tell him about his mistake or in any way help get my skis back. In fact, management was actually ANGRY and rude to me. Despite turning in the RENTAL skis the guy left behind, and leaving my cell phone, they never took any actions to help. So don’t count on Christys to do anything except take your money.

My 2 companions and I chose to rent from Christy's due to their convenient location at the base in Snowbird plaza. We passed about a dozen ski rental places on the way there and looked at other more affordable options online but ultimately decided on them for convenience. We are all experienced skiers and take an annual ski trip to places like Vail, Breck, Whistler, Jackson Hole, etc. We all rented different packages and had multiple equipment issues. My boots were fine but I had to change skis several times because frankly, the skis are almost worn out and mine had no edge at all, dull as a butter knife.My companions went through 4 pairs of boots and swapped skis as well. The staff was friendly and attentive enough, but not terribly knowledgeable. They were really patient with the returns, guessing because they are used to it. All the skis are beat up, even demo packages, scratched and poorly maintained. You would think a premium priced franchise right on the mountain would have better gear but if you look at the skis hanging you can visibly see they are all heavily scuffed, nary a shiny pair to be seen, and the staff must know they need maintenance. At least give me a sharp edge! I saw another reviewer noted the same issues and that generated a response from management asking for more details. Here's my message to management, get some newer gear and maintain it! I suggest to them they go look at the skis and feel the edges, and the boots, and admit that the operation is a level below other Christy's and competitors. We paid a lot of money to stay at Snowbird and we are impressed with the mountain, the snow and the Snowbird operation but the substandard equipment caused delays are frustrations, nobody likes to take equipment back and complain, that is on Christy's management, not staff!

Rented from Christy - They were understaffed the day we arrived. Once my group got to the equipment selection phase, their options were very limited, and the employees did not seem to have any interest in talking through the choices and fitting the equipment to our riding/skiing style.
Almost everyone in my group had issues with the equipment we did end up with - Bindings came loose, edges were rough, boards/skis were in terrible shape.
As an annual skier for 25 years, I have never felt more uncomfortable/out of control on a board in my life.
We switched to Snowbird Sports halfway through the trip. It was more expensive but the experience was great and the equipment comparison was night and day.
It might be fine for a beginner, but if you at all know what you're doing, would not recommend this place.

The staff was great. We had questions regarding season passes, new ski equipment and clothing. They were helpful and low pressure. They happen to be having a 50% off sale which prompted a couple purchases. Regular pricing similar to most resorts we have visited. Check them out.
